Project 4 challenged me to tackle a real-world industrial problem. After assessing an on-site issue, My team and I developed a clear problem statement and engineered an integrated solution.
Drawing on systems, mechanical, and electrical engineering principles, we also designed and built a working prototype that met every module requirement.
May 2024 - July 2024
For this project, my main goal was to ensure the robot could navigate through an arena created by others.
This required me to think critically and combine knowledge from systems, mechanical, and electrical engineering together. By doing this, I ensured the robot could successfully navigate the arena. Meeting all necessary requirements.
Aug 2023 - March 2024
I used the Spin language to send data to the Parallax P1 microcontroller to control the robot. I also designed a gripper in SolidWorks to grab a tennis ball, fabricated the model, and mounted it on the robot.
